Hey y’all! Today is officially launch day for this little ol’ blogosphere space of mine! I did post last Friday, so you can check that out if you want to learn a little more about me and how Boho Beach Babe came about.
I wanted to share some weekend tidbits today…we didn’t have a busy Saturday, but yesterday, I made sure to get the kids out to the beach. I don’t feel like I’ve been to the beach enough this summer. With this weekend being the last weekend before they go back to school, and the fact that next weekend we will be laying low due to the sheer mass of people coming to Charleston for the solar eclipse Monday, I just knew I had to take advantage. Jake could not go with us as he was doing his USCG Reserves duty, but I got up early, got everything ready and made it to the Isle of Palms in time to still find a decent parking spot. (If you need tips on how to survive a beach outing solo with three kids, I’m your gal.)
Here are some snapshots from our day:
Farrah is just so fun. She really enjoyed the water this time and I am proud at how brave she has gotten in the ocean. She was rolling around in the waves and plopping up and down, just being carefree.
I snuck up on Tanner and Breckin and caught a cute shot of one of the very-rare-but-sweet getting along moments.
What a view…never get tired of this.
