Weekend Vibes & Lilly Pulitzer Sale

Confession: I used to really dislike Lilly Pulitzer clothes.

I don’t know what changed – maybe they have more patterns and styles that I like now, or maybe I’m getting old and my taste is changing? Not sure. Not to say you have to be old to like Lilly P. but I feel like I may have felt that way before. And now that I’m headed to Punta Cana soon, I’m heck-bent on getting some cute, colorful stuff to wear and LP is perfect for that. I also love colorful stuff anyway, so it will be used for more than the one trip of course.

They are having a major 3-day sale right now and I totally took advantage. Here are the goodies I was able to snag before they sold out:

Palma Tube Top

Melle Dress

Hampton Tank Dress

Christine Sundress

A bit of a splurge, so I think I’m done now…at least for Punta Cana clothes.

This weekend was great…on Saturday, I went to Marshalls, picked up some fall decor to add to my collection, decorated for fall and then I took the kids to my friend’s house down the street. They just had a new pool installed and it’s amazing…everything was thoughtfully planned out to the last detail. They have a pavillion that’s going to have a whole outdoor kitchen and bar with a big screen TV and it also has a bathroom and shower on the back. Seriously amazing.

We watched the McGregor vs. Mayweather fight at our next door neighbors’ house and had a blast. And speaking of Punta Cana wear, my Felicity and Coco maxi dresses from Nordstrom came in and I love them. I wore one to the party…I just love the colors and got a lot of compliments on it.

My husband was so cute to match me…I swear I didn’t tell him to.

Sunday was pretty much spent putt-putting around the house. The fight started really late so we didn’t get to sleep til around 2am. I managed to clean house, get the majority of my schoolwork done for this week, go grocery shopping and go for a short run.

This week is off to a great start fitness-wise. I made it to my 5:30am barre boot camp class before work. However, I’m still feeling really exhausted from the weekend – I think it’s early to bed tonight for me!

Hope you had a great weekend and have a great week! xo
